This website represents the archive of Jeanine Hofland; a contemporary art gallery that was active between 2010 and 2016, founded and directed by Jeanine Hofland (2010-16) and co-directed by Sjoerd Kloosterhuis since 2014. The gallery was located at the De Clercqstraat 62 in Amsterdam; a former grocery shop space that demanded a strong focus on site specific projects. Over the years the gallery has worked with many talented people; within disciplines varying from painting to performance; with an overall emphasis on experiment and dialogue within our exhibition programme. We have participated in (inter) national art fairs; such as Liste Art Fair, Basel; Frieze Art Fair; CONDO and Sunday, London; Art Rotterdam etc. And we coined the small art fair; A Petite Fair, that travelled to gallery spaces across Europe.
We are extremely proud of all we have achieved over such a short period of time; which would have never been possible without the trust of so many.
